POPULAR TAPESTRY / 6 PIECES

Printed at La Linterna, Cali, on typographic machines from 1870 and 1890.

INSTRUCTIONS:

First, purchase:

- 5x1 sealant at Comex (or make your own paste)

- a wide brush

- gloves

Then…

  1. Dilute the sealant with water - 5 parts water to 1 part sealant (hence the name 5x1). Cut the tapestry along the cutting line, and apply the sealant on the back of the tapestry (the side without print) with a brush.

  2. Apply the prepared sealant to the wall where you are going to place the tapestry using a brush.

  3. Place the tapestry. If you already have a piece above or next to it, slightly overlap the piece you are applying at the white edges.

  4. Apply the sealant on top of the applied tapestry.

AND REPEAT!
